LEAD Childcare welcomes 2010
This year we have lots of fun and developmentally enhancing programs planned for the year.  Each program is specifically designed for each age group in our centre, ranging from 6 weeks to school age.
We have just finalised our 2010 calendar of events.  Over the next couple of months we will be celebrating Australia Day, by holding an “Aussie Week”.  This will give all the children the opportunity to learn all about our Australian culture.
We will also be promoting multiculturalism throughout the centre by celebrating Chinese New Year in February (Year of the Tiger).  Also During the month of February we will be holding a Winter Olympics Week, learning all about Winter sports and we will also participate in our own.
This year the  3-5 year olds in the Preschool Room, will have a weekly program based on “ Letter land” . This  program is designed for learning early literacy skills.  It focuses on the A to Z letter shapes and sounds which develop strong Phonemic awareness in a fun and effortless way.  Participating in this program will provide your child with a solid foundation for learning to read, write and spell.
If you are thinking of enrolling your child at the centre you are more than welcome to come in and view our daily activities.  Families of children attending the centre are always welcome to drop in to see the program in action.
This Year, Dayboro Little Farmers will be offering before and After School Care with a pick up and drop off service to Dayboro State School.  Our qualified staff member will take the children from the centre to school each morning, then in the afternoon they will collect the children from a designated area and will escort them to the centre where school age activities will be provided.
All of the staff at Dayboro Little Farmers are looking forward to an exciting, yet educational year ahead.  We will keep you posted on our up coming events.
For any further information please contact the centre on 3425 2113, and have a chat with our friendly staff.
