KEEP COMING BACK TO LIONHEARTS?
Lionhearts has become the favourite stomping ground to many young families in the Samford and surrounding areas.  This year our services were formally recognised as Lionheart Kids became a finalist in the North-west Business Achiever Awards, an award achieved through nominations from our customers.
Besides the clean, safe space and the dynamic, child-centred gym, music, baby sign and art classes we wanted to find out more about why people keep returning.
“My daughter loves her gym and music classes.  I often find her doing bunny hops across our kitchen floor and hear her singing the Lionhearts song around the house”
When Lionheart Kids opened its doors a year and a half ago a chorus of cheers rang out.  Parents of children between 6months and 11years welcomed the opportunity to meet somewhere local to play and learn together.  Music, art and gym classes available right here in the valley and with early childhood classes scheduled just after drop-off for parents with school-aged children – it couldn’t be easier!
“One-on-one time with my youngest is a rare thing – you just don’t spend the time with them like you did with the first!”
But Lionhearts has become more than just a place to nurture confidence and inspire creativity in children.  Its quiet setting at Samford Parklands & Tennis Club provides a welcome outdoor space for parents to enjoy a coffee and a catch up after the classes.  It is a favourite with Mother’s Groups as many new friendships have been formed simply by returning each week and getting to know like-minded parents.
“My little guy didn’t really have any of his own friends but now I love our Monday morning catch up as much as he does. Getting to know other Mums in the area has really helped me settle down into parenthood.”
With 2011 begins a new exciting additional program to Lionheart Kids.  ‘Sport-skills’ classes will allow children (3-11yrs) to participate and learn the base skills for a large range of sports including soccer, netball, tennis, football, tee-ball and cricket.  This program is designed to expose children to sport (and fitness) in a fun, competitive environment prior to them joining competitive sporting teams.
Gymnastic skill classes for 5-11 yrs are now also included in our gym class program with skill development for tumbling, bars and balance beam, aerobic activities and more.
Local really is lovely!  Call today to reserve your spot for Term 1 2011 and find out what else Lionheart Kids can offer your family.  Visit www.lionhearts.com.au or call Alison on 32893513 for further information and for early bird registration specials (ending 17th December).
