Any of us who have ever had a migraine know how crippling it can be, and so did Boof when he suddenly developed meningitis, or inflammation surrounding the brain, causing him to go blind and become paralysed.  With intensive care and commitment of his owners, Boof regained his sight and is now back on his legs and recovering at home.
