Dayboro Allied Health Centre
    PODIATRY - Sergio Gonzalez
    CHIROPRACTOR- David Weedon
ACUPUNCTURE & MASSAGE THERAPY  - Angela Weekley
Dayboro Central, the proud old building on the corner opposite the pub, known to locals as “McKenzie’s Store”, has been reinvented as an Allied Health Centre and will be the new base for my Podiatry clinic.
This new centre, occupying half of the original store, will house a fully equipped podiatry facility with the latest in treatment and diagnostic equipment including a digital video-assisted gait analysis lab, complete with a treadmill and force plate to comprehensively analyse individual walking patterns.
My wife, Laura and I, together with in-laws John and Debbie, have been busy setting up the new clinic and we are all very excited about the project.  I recently attended the National Paediatric Podiatry Conference in Melbourne and I look forward to sharing the latest knowledge and up to date information with the community and becoming involved with local health professionals, businesses, associations and sporting clubs as we make Dayboro our home.
I will be joined by local Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist, Angela Weekley and experienced Chiropractor,  Dr David Weedon in meeting the health care needs of a growing Dayboro community.  The clinic will be opening its doors on the 7th of December 2009.  For appointments and enquiries please call the Dayboro Allied Health Centre on 3425 1777.
Special thanks must go to Doctor David Sawdon and his wife Lynne who have supported and encouraged me.  They continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our small community has access to the best health care services possible.  They have single handedly enabled and keenly sought health care services and practitioners to work in Dayboro and have been expanding and modifying their Medical Centre to accommodate them wherever possible.  Dayboro now has the most comprehensive range of health care providers including a physiotherapist, psychologist, mental health nurse, dietician, audiologist, pathology and registered nursing services as well as a podiatrist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, massage therapist and more recently a resident Dentist.  At this rate, our community will stay strong and healthy long into the future.  We are a lucky country town.

A PROUD PAST - (photo taken in 1959 inside McKenzie’s Store  - Andrew McKenzie with sons Jeff and Kerry and Vic McLennan.  The McKenzie family lived and worked in the large store and provided faithful and generous service to the community for 47years).
Built by Andrew McKenzie in 1937, it now stands loud and proud as “Dayboro Central”. May it continue to stand as a reminder of a past that defines a healthy and fashionable future with the Dayboro Allied Health Centre and Fashion Essentials side by side.
