July Financial Day this day was generously sponsored by the Electricity Credit Union in Dayboro.  We appreciate their support each year, and it was great to have Karen Cook, Regional Manager and Maggie attend and join us for lunch.

Karen also stayed on to present the prizes to Alice Blackman, Pine Rivers winning team and Marilyn Oliver, Samford whose team was the runners-up.  We were given a Mikasa Dish by the Kallangur Ladies to raffle and this was won by Betty Cowan, Everton Park.  An embroidered hand towel and washer donated by our member Sheila, was also won by an Everton Park bowler.  The two fruit and vegetable trays went to Shirley, Kallanger and Erin, Pine Rivers.  As you can see on these days we have bowlers from many of the surrounding districts and they all have a competitive but fun day.  Our own George McKay and Lorraine Clark, Kallangur won the spider prizes (closest bowl to the ditch).
