Our April Financial Day was unfortunately washed out.  It was to be sponsored by our Honorary Member Joan Clark from our daughter club Kallangur.  Joan is a great supporter of our Club and we thank her sincerely.

Members had been collecting Easter eggs for the raffle prizes, and Edna did a great job of making these up into attractive baskets, her car boot was full of the eggs.  We managed to raffle off some on our Wednesday meeting, and thank you to any who bought raffle tickets at the Friday night dinner.  I think Edna thought she and Des may be eating them until next Easter.
Friendship Day 20 May.  If you would like to try out bowls, come and have fun.  It does not matter if you have not played before.   You are among friends and for some of them it is also the first time.  If you would like to be involved phone Edna on 3425 1119.
Friday Night Dinners the Roasts are back commencing 15 May, fortnightly, 6 p.m.till 8 p.m. 
Everyone welcome to come on a Wednesday.   9 a.m. for morning tea and start bowling at 9.30 a.m.
