By all accounts club members who attended the camp over at Toogoolawah had a fantastic time.  The invitation was extended by the Brisbane Valley Trail Riding Club to join them for a weekend.  Seventeen of our members travelled out there and braved the cold, endured pub dinners, complimentary wine, trail rides, great company, entertainment and wonderful scenery.  We would like to thank BVTR for a great weekend.  Apparently they would like to make this an annual event, we look forward to it. 
The club also took part in the Dayboro Day parade.  A short trail ride was held before the parade commenced with no mishaps until members and horses lined up behind the pub.  Rocky managed to get his hoof through his halter, putting on his own mini rodeo.  Chaos over, the parade went smoothly.
About twenty three riders trekked out of the show grounds for the club’s June ride.  The ride went out to Bradley’s, up to Pioneer and down on to Fingerboard Road. 
We once again ran the Team Penning at the Dayboro Show and would like to thank all helpers, volunteers, sponsors and cattle providers.  Without their assistance we could not run events like this. 
Our next weekend away will be to Kin Kin on August 8th.  This has been a fantastic ride enjoyed by all in the past. 
Then September, ATHRA will be running its annual ride.  Lots to look forward to as always.  If you have your own horse and would like to join us, we’d love to have you along.
