Last month’s ride coincided with Anzac Day, so we participated as normal in the Dayboro Anzac march and ceremony, laying a wreath.  This day seems to have more people attend the services each year and is a very moving event.  We owe the people who have participated in these actions a great deal.
For the Anzac march/parade we had a total of 12 riders and club secretary, Lee Tapper, bringing up the rear on foot!  After the ceremony riders went for a short ride down through the parkland, over the river, through Juffs and Cummins, back over the river and home along the road. Once home we enjoyed a very nice lunch, well done Lisa and helpers.
Our club will be running the Team Penning for the Show Society at the Dayboro Show again this year.  On 10th and 11th, July.  If you wish to enter, the cost is $15.00 per head, per run, or $45.00 per team of three.  If you wish to have a go but do not have a team, just turn up as there is always someone looking to make up a team.  And it is fantastic fun!!  You do not have to be an expert; all you need is a horse.  A really fun event, guaranteed to give you a laugh.
