“Red Rocket” Lachy played a 5 day Tournament recently which was the State Schoolboys Championships.
We were expecting a top 15 finish as he will still be eligible next year as well BUT he actually qualified for the QLD State team.

They play next month in Adelaide over 6 days. Its called the “Bruce Cup” and is the only National School Championship that every State in Australia enters. Everyone was amazed at his performance and effort to qualify.
His schedule next month is very busy and will be travelling for 1 month from the 12th September, covering Adelaide, Rockhampton, Townsville and Perth arriving home 10th October. The Perth Tournament is part of the National Optus Tour which he wasn’t going to play until next year but his recent excellent results may get him enough ranking points for automatic selection, but if not will probably be offered a wildcard.
