February Financial Day:  Thanks again to Pam and Wayne Mathers of Dayboro Pharmacy, for their generous sponsorship of this day.  This year it did not rain until they finished at lunch.

As it was Valentines Day, we tried to keep to the theme with heart chocolates as table prizes, and the raffle (won by myself) of Champagne, chocolates and $20 (kindly donated by one of our members).  The spider prizes went to Coral, Everton Park and Jean, Ferny Grove.  Dayboro's team - Lorraine, Wendy, Rod and Wally - were the winners on the day, with Carol's, Ferny Grove team the runners-up.  The 2 fruit and veg trays went to Ron, Deception Bay and Betty, Everton Park.  Thanks to Wayne for playing and staying for lunch to present the prizes.
Friendship Day 6 April:  This is a fun day and you do not have to be a bowler - just ask Edna's tennis players.  They look forward to it each year.  We have morning tea at 9am and play at 9.30am.  Bowls can be provided and flat shoes are to be worn.  Cost: $5.  Phone Edna to book or to find out more on 3425 1119.
Dickson's Volunteer of Year:  Peter Dutton (Federal Minister) presented this award to Edna Wruck on Australia Day and we congratulate her on this achievement which recognises all her years as a volunteer in the Dayboro district.  She continues to keep us focused at the Bowls Club. 
Wednesday Bowls mixed:  9am morning tea 9.30am play.  Cost:  $5. 
Wednesday night:  6pm sausage sizzle.  Cost:  $5 - great on a hot night.  Once again bowls can be provided.  Flat shoes required.
