Well here we are, a new year and there are plenty of exciting events on the calendar for 2012.
Hopefully by the time you are reading this we will have our new menus on the table.  We have added a variety of fresh salads, burgers and gourmet sandwiches.  The majority of our beautiful cakes are baked by local ladies and they change daily.  Gluten free options are available.

While we are on the subject of delicious food, if you are looking for something different in Dayboro on a Friday evening, how about tapas? . . . . Beginning on the 10th of February, Rendezvous will be opening every second Friday for Tapas.  We have a wonderful chef preparing a selection of Platters or individual tapas.  These Evenings are BYO wine, and Bookings are essential. 
Rendezvous will be continuing our extremely popular Evenings this year and our next event is one for all the parents.  We are very lucky to have Michelle Mitchell, the founder of the Charity, Youth Excel .
Michelle is an entertaining, energetic and passionate speaker who is able to transfer years of on the job experience to parents when they need it the most.  Her newly released book “What Teenage girls don’t tell their parents” provides preventative strategies to help parents keep their kids on the straight and narrow as they journey towards adulthood. 
In todays crazy world of never ending social media, parents need all the help they can get.
The Evening will be held Thursday the 23rd of February at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.  Cost is $15 per head and includes coffee and cake.  Bookings can be made by ringing Rendezvous on 3425 1353 or just dropping in.
Finally I would like to mention that I feel so lucky to have spent the last four years in Dayboro and here at Rendezvous we really hope that we are becoming known as your community bookshop.  We had a very busy Christmas and consequently we are in the process of restocking with lots of beautiful books and gifts.  So why not drop in for a coffee, browse the shelves and Relax, Read, Rendezvous.
