The 2010 Dickson Seniors’ Expo will be held at the Strathpine Community Centre, Mecklem Street, Strathpine.

The Expo is a great opportunity for retired, or about to retire seniors, to access information on activities/services available in the community.  More than 50 businesses and not-for-profit organisations are represented.
Exhibits include:
    Retirement Villages
    Seniors Social Clubs, hobbies and fitness
    Travel opportunities
    Federal, State and Local Governments Services
    Advice on numerous health issues
ENTRY IS FREE.  There will be lucky door prizes to be won, interesting and informative speakers on a variety of subjects and a fashion parade for women and men. 
Guest speakers include, The Hon Peter Dutton MP, Federal Member for Dickson and The Hon Bronwyn Bishop MP, Shadow Minister for Seniors.
Other presenters include Russell Young from Theo’s Nursery and Garden Centre and Detective Senior Constable Rod Shelton from the Queensland Police Service.
Tuesday will be a day of Entertainment including the Get Rhythm Dance Team, the Baby Boomer Band and a Fashion Parade from Millers and Lowes Menswear.

This year a FREE SHUTTLE BUS will be running to and from the Expo every half hour from Westfield Strathpine bus stop area.
