All Moreton Bay Regional Libraries will be celebrating books and reading during Children's Book Week, which this year has the theme of Fuel your Mind and runs from August16 to 22.

Greg Rogers, author and illustrator of “The Boy, the Bear, the Baron, the Bard” and “Midsummer Knight”, will be speaking at eight libraries across the region on writing and illustrating a book.

Children’s Book Week is the longest running children's festival in Australia, celebrating its 63rd birthday this year.

Each year, public libraries from all over Australia spend the week celebrating books and Australian authors and illustrators with fun activities highlighting the importance of reading.
