We invite locals to nominate in this year’s Queensland Regional Achievement & Community Awards.  The Awards Program has rewarded many worthy individuals and communities over the past nine years.

The purpose of these awards is to encourage, acknowledge and reward valuable contributions and outstanding achievements in regional and rural areas.
The focus of the awards will be small to medium size businesses and employment agencies, community events, arts and culture, individuals and initiative and community groups enhancing the social, economic, commercial and environmental prosperity of their region.   There are many individuals, organisations and businesses worthy of recognition in regional and rural areas for their tireless dedication or outstanding achievements, and it’s up to you to nominate them now! Nominate in one or more of the  categories:
The Salvation Army Employment Plus Employment and Training Award
The Coffee Club Arts and Culture Award
The Clark Rubber Regional Service Award
The Peabody Environment and Landcare Award
The Kleenheat Gas Community of the Year Award
Prizes include great television exposure thanks to WIN Television or a chance to win a $2,500 AwardSaver account thanks to Commonwealth Bank. Each winner also receives a hand crafted glass trophy.
