It's come around all too quickly.  Soon it will be Queensland Day - June 6th to be exact - and once again Samford Museum will be inviting several Respite  and Seniors Groups to come and celebrate the day with us.
They always enjoy the sing-a-long to the music of our fantastic pair of musicians.
Our ever popular demonstrations will be running for all to participate in;  and our new Remote Viewing DVD Unit - in the Shade Area - will be showing appropriate presentations for the day.
We shall be entertained again by the children from Samford State School - “The Songsters” - with their lovely renditions of some popular Aussie songs.
Come lunch time the BBQ will be sizzling hot and ready to feed all hungry individuals.  Tea, coffee and cakes etc are all on the list to partake of for a small cost.
The general public are most welcome to come and celebrate along with us and we would love to see all of you, especially if you have a story to tell about Samford and the District of yesteryear.
The usual admission fee for adults and children, as on the gate notice, applies for this day. (see below)
