Rural Watch Earlier this month, the Dayboro and Districts Rural Watch held its AGM and last year’s office bearers were re-elected. I would like to thank executive members for their contribution and also local residents for continued support. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 6th December at the Dayboro Bowls Club, commencing 7.30pm. Meetings are open to all residents and they are a good opportunity to meet other people in the community and to find out what offences have been happening in the area. Traffic Issues A traffic Operation was conducted with District Traffic Branch staff early morning on 3rd October (end of school holidays). Approximately 30 speeding offences were detected as well as a number of unregistered vehicles and unlicensed drivers. Additional speed camera sites have now also been approved for use in the Dayboro area. Please take the time to obey speed limits and also to check your local roads to confirm that you are fully aware of speed signage. Ken Robinson, Officer in Charge DAYBORO POLICE, 3425 1200 |
