The people of the Dayboro area turned out to help restore the North Pine River and its creeks on the weekend of 15 and 16 October.
The turn-out included a mixture of families and representatives from some of the local organisations.  A total of 19 volunteers, including 9 from the APEX Club worked on the Saturday; with 8 volunteers on the Sunday, including 2 from Dayboro Men’s Shed.  On Monday the planting continued with 8 conservation volunteers.  A total of 2000 plantings took place.  Well done Dayboro!
They were assisting Pine Rivers Catchment Association and SEQ Catchments who have started to rebuild the rivers and streams north of Dayboro.
