NEXT LIONS MOVIE: Spiderwick Chronicles on June 21st 2008.
MOVIE NEWS: Dayboro Lions May movie 'Horton' drew a massive crowd, and even the young kids were riveted to the screen. They clapped when the hero won! The movies are presented as a service to the community and are budgeted to be cost-neutral, however large attendances generate funds which are put back into community support projects.

OPEN MEETINGS: A reminder that on the 4th Monday of each month the Lions run an open meeting, to which all are invited, members and non-members. It is held at the Footy Club, and is a presentation by a guest speaker on a variety of subjects. It is preceded by an optional meal - steak or chicken ($12), and the bar is open. All are welcome to attend the talk, which will be advertised on the town notice boards. If you want to attend, just turn up. May's talk is by Constable Conrad the cop, on policing out west. June is expected to be a presentation by the Koala foundation. FUTURE PLANS: The Dayboro Lions remain very active in supporting the community, and are pursuing a club shed in which to keep the resources necessary to achieve this. Equipment is currently spread around in members' homes.
