Hello there. By the time you are reading this the Apex Club of Dayboro will have had their annual changeover meeting and a brand new executive have been sworn in.

Holding the reins this year will be Stefan Hansson (President), Linda Penny/Jenny Brewster (Secretary) and John Ohman (Treasurer). The occasion also marked my retirement from active membership having reached the ripe age of 45 years and no longer considered eligible. The event was staged at the ever welcoming Rendezvous with many old and familiar friends in attendance, catered by the Apex Brides and with immodest levels of consumption that has left me slightly seedy - “mortally hung over”.
Recent activity and projects include the half finished landscaping at OHSC, which we will finish Debbie;  support for the Scout contingent heading to the National Jamboree;  the Pony Club Gymkhana prizes;  and of course the Dayboro Show.
September is the month we start to put the new Directory together, Tracey will be in touch with all our regular advertisers shortly and any new residents or potential advertisers can fill in the form, you saw earlier, to get on board. The Directory remains the fastest means of identifying a local tradesman or contacting a local inhabitant. Thank you for your support and be assured that the funds raised will be directed back into your community.
The crew should be fairly obvious during September with bar staff bookings at both the Dayboro Players and the Debutantes Ball, sure to lower the tone of proceedings and will probably benefit greatly from attending the Men’s Health Evening at the Football Club.  They are not as objectionable as their reputation, engage them in friendly banter, find out about Apex and maybe come along to a meeting.
