logo_qcwa.gifThe Dayboro CWA Branch held their Seniors Morning Tea on March 16.  Approximately 33 people attended.
The members decided to have a St Patricks Day theme.  Shamrock leaves adorned the walls along with green balloons.  The table settings were green and white.
As usual the multi raffle was a huge success.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the day - especially as there was lots of home cooking to eat and wonderful friendship.
All the entries in the CWA Cooking Competition were also judged that day and the cakes were then sold.
The next morning tea will be held at the end of the year.  Watch for it in the Grapevine.
We have a few catering jobs coming up, including the rodeo and Dayboro Day.
The members are planning a social day out to celebrate the branch’s birthday in June.  Present plans are to go to Newstead House, followed by the members having lunch somewhere.  So being a CWA member is lots of fun and not all hard work.
Don’t forget our craft days on the 1st and 4th Fridays of the month, and cards on Saturday afternoons at 1pm.
For more information on these days, please phone me on 3425 3194.
Bye for now.  Until next month, take care.
Margaret Sellin
Branch Press Secretary.
