Dayboro Community Kindergarten is giving locals a chance to win a unique piece of Australian music history by buying a $5 ticket in the ‘Star Guitar’ raffle.
Worth a whopping $15,000, the guitar is signed by Aussie music legends Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Kasey Chambers, Diesel, Wendy Mathews, Killing Heidi, The Choir Boys, Screaming Jets and Jon Stevens.
As well as supporting the Dayboro Kindy program, proceeds from the raffle will go to the Motor Neurone Disease charity, Beyond Blue and Ronald McDonald House.  For your chance to win, visit the Kindy between 9am and 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The Kindy’s annual Dayboro Day multi-draw raffle was a big success again this year.  Kindy Committee fundraisers Kirsten Doyle and Karen McCarthy had high praise not only for this year’s sponsors but also for the Kindy parents who volunteered their time on the day to sell tickets.
This year’s raffle was supported by Craig Doyle, Warner Vet, Peppercorn House, Hay Cottage, Lavender Blue, Councillor Bob Millar, Federal Member Peter Dutton MP and State Member Carolyn Male MP.  Kindy parents Narelle Marks and Craig Stewart, and Kellee Bickerton also donated prizes.
