Next Meeting 21 February 2012: Meetings 3rd Tuesday of the month. We welcome new members, so come along. (President Pam Peters 3425 2786)
CRAFT: Craft days are held on the 1st and 4th Fridays of month from 9.30am. Cost is $3.00. Recommencing Friday 3 February 2012. Beginners welcome as we do have a teacher for various crafts. So if you want a chat, or to learn a new craft, or just bring along your own work, we would love to see you. Everyone welcome and you do not need to be a member.
SENIOR'S MORNING TEA: This was held on Tuesday, 15 November from 10 a.m. Another successful day, with old and new friends joining in for a fun day. The representative from the Public Trustee was well accepted. His offer to attend at Dayboro to make out Wills could be taken up if enough interest is shown.
We also thank local representative of George Hartnett Funerals, Patsy Cains, who attended and handed out information. She also donated a Christmas Hamper, which we gave out as the lucky door prize, and a cake which was cut by our oldest member, Olive Daural, and youngest, Samantha Imh.

Women's and Children's Crisis Bags: We will be having a meeting in January to make up these bags, which are then filled with essentials and passed to Crisis Centres. CARDS: This is held on Saturday afternoons at the CWA Hall from 1.00pm. (Phone Norma, 3425 1343, for more information) On behalf of President Pam Peters and members of the Dayboro CWA we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year. Eleanor Williams, Media Officer. |
