A promotion at the gallery in conjunction with the Artists of the Month won the hearts of 27 invited guests at a private function on January 8th.
Hosted by Brian & Sandra Nichols, guests came from Laidley, Rothwell, Mt Ommaney, Forest Lake, Kenmore, Eaton’s Hill, Hamilton, Jindalee and Narangba.

The majority had never been to Dayboro, let alone ever visited the gallery, and were full of praise for the quality and variation of work shown by local artists.
Apart from highlighting the Artist of the Month Program the promotion was to spread the word to the Greater Brisbane areas, of our Community Gallery in Dayboro.  We do attract a lot of overseas visitors who are interested in paintings of the local area and smaller objects on sale at the gallery.
With new members and new art work, the display is ever changing and well worth a visit if you haven’t been to the gallery in recent months.
Well know local artist, Lorraine Emerson will be Artist of the Month for February and will display a single piece of her work.
