On Wednesday 19th May Dayboro CWA joined Pine Rivers and Samford branches for an International Day celebration hosted by PINE RIVERS and held at Samford CWA Hall.

Our country of study this year was Ireland and we enjoyed Irish songs and poetry with Rollo Waite and a talk about life in Ireland by Barbara O'Neill from Travelscene Samford.  Irish food for lunch and a brightly decorated hall completed a very pleasant day.  Peter Dutton joined us for lunch.
On the 15th of June our members are having a social day out to visit Newstead House.  We are meeting at CWA rooms at 9am to car pool.  The members decided to take their own lunch.  We will have a short meeting before the tour through the house.
We will be catering at the showgrounds for the Dayboro Antiques and Collectables Fair on Dayboro Day and also for a anniversary party at the bowls club.
