What a wonderful day we had at the Zoo on the 11 May 2011.  It was a beautiful autumnal day and the kids had a great time feeding kangaroos, goats and many other animals.

They were also able to get up close and pat a koala, baby kangaroo, baby crocodile and snake.  We ended up with 26 adults and 32 children attending the day.   I know that our family will be heading there again in the near future as my little 2 year old slept through half the zoo!
DAYBORO DAY
We were busy getting organised for this year’s Dayboro Day stall.  This year we provided activities such as mask decorating, crown making and collage for little ones to enjoy.   Any profits that we make from Dayboro Day enable us to subsidise activities and outings for our families throughout the year.  
NEW MEMBERS
A very warm welcome is extended to any new mums and dads who wish to join our playgroup.  We have had quite a few new families join in the last month which has been great for our playgroup.  It is a very cost effective morning out, with the annual membership to Playgroup Queensland currently $35.  There is an additional charge of $2 per family when you attend our playgroup.  You will find us to be a very friendly group of parents!  We meet on Monday and Wednesday from 9.30am behind the ECU Building in Williams Street.  If it is raining we hold playgroup indoors in the council building.
