Craft:  1st and 4th Fridays of month from 9.30am - Cost $3.00.  Last one for this year is Friday 4 November as Brenda (teacher) will be away for 25 November.  Beginners welcome as we do have a teacher for various crafts.  So if you want a chat, or learn a new craft or just bring along your own work, we would love to see you.  Everyone welcome and you do not need to be a member.  Recommence 1st Friday in February 2012.
International Day 21 September:  This year the country is East Timor.  Our Branch has donated $200 to Terrace Timor Network for monies to go toward the East Timor community.  Our thanks again to Joycelynn for her very indepth information on this country.  Next year her challenge will be Chile.
SENIOR'S MORNING TEA:  This will be on Tuesday, 15 November from 10am.  Guest Speaker is from the Public Trustee's Office.  It will be held again at the Showgrounds as this has proved to be better for parking and more room for tables.  Invitations will be sent out closer to the time.  However, all seniors welcome as it is a great time for a chat and catchup.  Hope to see you there.
CONGRATULATIONS to Alison Hagaman on her appointment as President, South Coast Division.
NEW MEMBER:  Last meeting we welcomed our newest and youngest member, Samantha Ihm, 2 years.
Cards Saturday afternoons at CWA Hall from 1.00 p.m. (phone Norma 3425 1343 for more information)
