Playgroup Award for Excellence 2011
We were very excited to be a finalist in Playgroup Queensland’s 2011 Award for Excellence, unfortunately we did not win, however it was great that we were one of the contenders.

A big thank you to everyone who purchased tickets in the Playgroup Queensland Art Union 2011.  Over $34 000 was raised by Playgroups across Queensland to support The Playgroup Children's Foundation and our own individual Playgroups.  All Playgroups participating receive 50% of their proceeds to purchase resources, while the other 50% goes directly to the Playgroup children’s Foundation to assist in providing quality Playgroups and opportunities for families throughout Queensland.  Dayboro Rascals raised close to $200 which we will put towards new toy purchases.   Thank you also to the IGA which allowed us to sell tickets outside their building.  
Also, thank you to Rick Stewart who has kindly donated his winnings ($130) from a recent card game win with some local chaps.
New Members
A very warm welcome is extended to any new mums and dads who wish to join our playgroup.  It is a very cost effective morning out, with the annual membership to Play group Queensland currently $35.  There is an additional charge of $2 per family when you attend our playgroup.  You will find us to be a very friendly group of parents!  We meet on Monday and Wednesday from 9.30AM behind the ECU Building in Williams Street.  If it is raining still come along, as we have lots of indoor toys and dress ups (we will be inside the council building).
