A promotion at the gallery in conjunction with the Artists of the Month won the hearts of 27 invited guests at a private function on January 8th.
Hosted by Brian & Sandra Nichols, guests came from Laidley, Rothwell, Mt Ommaney, Forest Lake, Kenmore, Eaton’s Hill, Hamilton, Jindalee and Narangba.

CRAFT: 1st and 4th Fridays of month. 9.30am. Cost $3.00. Recommenced Friday 3 February 2012. Beginners welcome as we do have a teacher for various crafts. So if you want a chat, or learn a new craft or just bring along your own work, we would love to see you. Everyone welcome and you do not need to be a member.

 Lions presented a most successful December, in which the we made considerable financial donations to several local causes, and were involved with the logistic support of core community events. Christmas cakes sold out, and not surprisingly - Have you tasted these delicious excellent value delicacies?

Building No. 12 on the Dayboro “The Town of Yesteryear” Historical Town Walk brochure sadly no longer exists. It is still hard to get used to seeing the vacant block of land between the Dayboro Deli and the Dayboro Cafe where this building stood until it was so badly damaged by fire in June 2011 that it had to be completely demolished.
