The 2010 Adventure Women program, for women aged 16 and over who live in the Moreton Bay region, kicked off in March and will run until May.

Councillor Julie Greer is keen to practise her abseiling skills for this year's Adventure Women program.
Mayor Allan Sutherland said the program gave women of the region an opportunity to develop skills, build confidence and form new friendships in a supportive and non-competitive environment.
“Participants can get involved in over 30 sporting and recreational activities including dragon boating, surfing, mountain biking, kayaking and much more,” Mayor Sutherland said.
