Fiona McNamara, Federal Labor Candidate for Dickson, and Carolyn Male MP, State Member for Pine Rivers, recently joined Dayboro State School Principal, Glynnis Gartside, in an inspection of the new Australian Government’s Building the Education Revolution Buildings.
Fiona McNamara was pleased to see that the new $2.4 million Resource Centre and Multipurpose Hall are completed and have become a welcome addition to the school.
“The Federal Government is committed to ensuring that our children have the best educational facilities possible and I think that these buildings will help the Government to reach this goal.”
Carolyn Male MP said that it was great to see that the facilities were already being utilised with books going back on the shelves in the new Resource Centre.
Both Carolyn and Fiona are looking forward to the official opening of the new facilities in June.
