The March 2010 round of Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is now open.   Applications close Monday March 15, 2010 for projects not starting before June.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor, Allan Sutherland said the RADF grants program was an initiative of Moreton Bay Regional Council and the Queensland Government in support of innovation in art.
"I’m encouraging individuals and groups involved in innovative culture, arts and heritage projects to apply for funding under the RADF program," Mayor Sutherland said.
“Often an RADF grant can make all the difference in terms or getting a show off the ground and seen by a broader audience, so it’s well worth the effort to find out if your project is eligible.
"The previous round of RADF grants supported 19 projects worth over $86,000 including visual arts, craft, design, music, literature, heritage, multimedia and theatre.
Guidelines and application forms can be downloaded from www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au/radf
