incorporating DAYBORO ANTIQUE & COLLECTABLES FAIR With Market Stalls with all manner of things on sale; FREE Entertainment on multiple stages; Street Parade; Displays; Demonstrations . . . . Then there are the distinctly Dayboro-type fun and novelty events! What a full day it will be!!
This year in the novelty events we will see the emergence of 2 new events in the WACKY WHEELBARROW RELAY and the DAYBORO DEBATE DEBACLE.
The Wacky Wheelbarrow Relay is for our community groups to nominate for participation in, vying for the prize-money on offer. This will be in Williams Street at 1.30pm. The Dayboro Debate Debacle takes place on the stage in Lions Park at noon and will see 2 teams conduct their debate on a ‘serious’ topic, ‘Should Dayboro be the Capital of Qld?’ ANTIQUE & COLLECTABLES FAIR
Parking is at the Showgrounds as is the Antique & Collectables Fair, with leading dealers from all corners of southeast Queensland exhibiting fine antiques and collectables at most affordable prices - English, European, Continental and, of course, Australian Wares. Verbal Valuations happening again - Refer to the lift-out section.
Entry fee: Adults $5 (Under 16’s free). OLD & INTERESTING TEA TOWELS!!Do you have any old and interesting tea towels that you would be prepared to loan for the display that will be featured at this year’s Antique & Collectables Fair? If so, contact Jackie Wallace on 3425 1029.Do refer to the lift-out in this edition.
