FESTIVAL OF DANCE  and HERITAGE DAY
FESTIVAL OF DANCE:
ADMISSION (FOR EACH DANCE):  Adults $10.
Saturday 8th May, 7.30pm Old Time / New Vogue Dance featuring Michael Woollett, Honkytonk Man, on piano with Aaron on drums.
Friday 14th May, 8pm, BUSH DANCE with the Royal Bounty Bush Band.  Caller Bob McLaren.  Prizes for Best Heritage Outfit.
Saturday 22nd May, “Heritage Ball”  with the Silver Comets Orchestra.
HERITAGE DAY
Saturday 22nd May 2010 from 9.30am
ADMISSION:  by Gold Coin Donation.
Entertainment by Dayboro State School, Sharryn Bell, Arrabella Chambers and Glen Wilke, Music to dance to by the Silver Comets Orchestra.  FACE PAINTING . . DISPLAYS:  Dayboro Historical Society photos;  The Gap Historical Society;  Samford Museum;  Mt Pleasant Quilters;  Working with old timber tools i.e. crosscut and pitsaws, adse, froe (shingles), broad axe, swing saw;  Time Capsule;  Commissioned Historical paintings by Carol Donaldson on view;  Mountain Sulpture;  Vintage Cars;  Machinery;  Whip Cracking by Millicent and Arrabella;  and Stone Polishing.
